Since inception, those involved with the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire have had the vision of it becoming “more than a shelter”, of it becoming a valued community resource. Throughout the past 108 years, that dream has been more than realized. And, the dream has evolved from being a community resource, to being a statewide resource, and finally to the League being a leader in New Hampshire in animal welfare. Recognizing that there are many shelters throughout New Hampshire all working toward the same mission, the Animal Rescue League is committed to finding a better, more efficient way to share resources so that animal welfare can be improved collectively throughout the State of New Hampshire. In order for the League to achieve this vision, it relies heavily on many – its Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, donors, clients and constituents, community and corporate partners as well as many others. By working and collaborating together, all of these supporters have enabled the League to make great strides in improving the lives of animals throughout the State of New Hampshire.
