Ready for a new pet?

If you love animals, then bringing home a new pet is like adding a new member to your family. The health and personality of this pet will have an impact on the health and personalities of your whole family.

Unseen is unknown – meet your new pet first. And take the time to get answers to these three questions before opening your heart and your home:

1. Is the source of this pet a licensed business by the state of New Hampshire, some other state or the USDA?

2. What type of health protections does the pet come with? Vaccinations? A health certificate?

3. Are you able to meet this new pet before spending any money?

Getting answers to these questions could help avoid an impulse decision that could lead to financial hardship and broken hearts. A new pet should be a joyful experience for you - your family - and your new pet.
